In 1949, Lorne Gives founded a local parcel delivery service in London, Ontario, named A-Zip. From day one, the company began with the idea that the London area needed a competent, reliable moving company that people can trust. Those values are still present today in Terry Joyes, Lorne Gives’ grandson, who took over A-Zip in 1987. Terry continues his grandfather’s legacy of providing quality, trustworthy moving services to the people of London and all of Ontario. We feel our success depends on continuing a family tradition of dependable, competent service and good value to existing and new customers.
When it started, A-Zip was a small operation of just one person providing local parcel delivery for Eaton’s department store. Shortly after that, A-Zip began providing delivery for other businesses, as well as residential moving. Today, long after Eaton’s has closed, A-Zip still provides that same quality of service for every move.
A-Zip now boasts a large team of experienced, qualified professional movers, as well as seven active moving trucks. A-Zip can handle moving services from small residential moves to large commercial moves and anything in between.
